FULL LIST: Asake snags ‘Song of the Year’ at 17th Headies

Odumodublvck has won the ‘Next Rated’ award at the 17th edition of The Headies.

The music ceremony, hosted by Nigerian actress Nancy Isime, was held on Sunday at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.

The 17th edition of the show celebrated outstanding achievements in music released between April 1, 2023, and July 31, 2024.

Odumodublvck clinched the ‘Next Rated’ award after edging out other nominees, including Qing Madi, Shallipopi, Ayo Maff, and Nasboi.

The late singer Mohbad won the ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ award, while Rema secured ‘Album of the Year’ for ‘HeIs’.

A special recognition award was also presented to Lagos governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Alex Okosi, and Amaju Pinnick, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

Gbenga Omotoso, Lagos state commissioner for information, and Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chair of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), were among the dignitaries present at the ceremony.
