Julius Randle Net Worth and NBA Contract: How Much Does the Timberwolves Star Earn?

Basketball

Julius Randle has built a solid financial foundation through a mix of NBA contracts, endorsement deals, and real estate investments. His earnings come not only from playing basketball but also from working with brands and making smart off-court decisions. Over the years, Randle has expanded his income sources, showing how athletes can grow their wealth in multiple ways.

Basketball Julius Randle’s Income From the NBA

Randle has signed a four-year contract with the New York Knicks in August 2021, this deal includes a player option for the season 2025-26. Before the 2024-25 season, he was traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who will continued paying him like a star.

  • 2022–23: $23.76 million
  • 2023–24: $25.66 million
  • 2024–25: $27.56 million
  • 2025–26: $29.46 million (player option)

He is guaranteed $106.44 million under this deal if we count the incentives then the maximum value of this contract will reach $122 million. These incentives include $1.2 million each for All-Star selection, playing at least 65 games while making the playoffs, and being named to an All-Defensive Team. In 2022–23, Randle earned the All-Star bonus but missed out on the games-played bonus due to a shoulder injury.

Basketball Inside Randle’s Brand Endorsement Deals

Randle’s income is not limited to the NBA. He has made several brand endorsement deals that make him millions annually.

In October 2023, he signed a multi-year endorsement deal with Sketchers and became one of the first NBA athletes to become the face of their basketball footwear lineup. This collaboration began when he was healing from his ankle injury in 2023, and at that time he engaged with the brand’s design team, providing feedback that influenced the creation of models like the SKX Resagrip and SKX Float.

Randle and his son, Kyden, entered into a unique endorsement partnership with JD Sports, in 2021. In this collaboration, Kyden became the face of the JD Sports Kids, he expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Kyden and I are excited to officially partner with @jdsportsus (and JD Sports Kids). Little man had too much fun at his first photo shoot.”

He has also collaborated with Levi’s in 2021, this collaboration included a commercial that got him talking about his ability to inspire people, making a change for the betterment of society.

He partnered with Celsius, an energy drink brand, too. Before the endorsement became official, Randle and his family were already big fans of the product. He explained, “Before I ever had the idea of doing the partnership and deal with Celsius, I was already drinking it at my house for over a year.

“My family, everybody loves to drink it. It’s authentic to me in that sense, and as far as energy drinks, it’s really hard to find a good option that’s also healthy.”

In January 2022, Celsius officially announced Randle as one of their athlete partners, joining names like Shaun White, Dustin Poirier, and Suni Lee.

Back in 2016, while with the Los Angeles Lakers, Randle partnered with Mountain Dew to help expand the brand’s presence on the West Coast. He was featured in a commercial during the campaign.

Basketball Randle’s Real Estate Investments Contribute to His Wealth

Randle’s net worth is estimated at $25 million. That figure includes his NBA salary and endorsement income, but a large part of his wealth also comes from smart real estate investments.

In 2018, during his stint with the New Orleans Pelicans, Randle purchased a French Provincial-style mansion in Kenner, Louisiana, for just under $3 million. The 7,721-square-foot estate, built in 2017, features five bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a gourmet kitchen with dual islands, floor-to-ceiling windows, a home theater, a bar, a sauna, heated bathroom floors, and a resort-style pool and spa.

Randle also owns a mansion in his hometown of Dallas, valued at approximately $1.5 million. The purchase reflects his deep connection to his roots and stands as a significant piece of his real estate portfolio.
