The accused, identified as Ravina, a local YouTuber, and her alleged partner, Suresh, also a content creator, reportedly strangled 32-year-old Praveen to death at their residence in Bhiwani on March 25.

Why did Ravina, Suresh allegedly kill Praveen?

According to a report by the Hindustan Times, the police confirmed that the alleged murder occurred following a heated confrontation after Praveen allegedly caught Ravina and Suresh in a compromising position, causing him to lose his temper.

“On the night of March 25, following an argument, Ravina and Suresh strangled Praveen to death. They then wrapped his body, placed it on a motorcycle, and dumped it in a drain along Dinod Road,” said police spokesperson Abhishek Rao.

Praveen, who worked as a driver, was reported missing by his family after his wife insisted that she did not know his whereabouts.

A search was launched, and his decomposed body was discovered three days later in a drain on the city’s outskirts.

Investigations reveal that the couple’s marriage had been strained for some time. Ravina had allegedly grown close to Suresh after meeting him on Instagram, a relationship Praveen strongly disapproved of.

He was reportedly uncomfortable with her growing presence on social media and frequent travel for video shoots despite having a six-year-old son together.

“Both Ravina and Suresh have been booked for murder. During interrogation, Ravina confessed to the crime and detailed how they planned and executed the murder,” added police spokesperson Rao.

The couple’s alleged actions were captured on CCTV, footage of which has been circulating online.

The chilling footage shows the pair supposedly transporting the body on a motorcycle in the dead of night.

They had what appeared to be Praveen’s body wedged between them on the bike. Moments later, they returned without the suspected body.

The motorcycle, also seen earlier parked in the family garden, was later traced heading towards Dinod Road.

The police officer confirmed that further investigations are ongoing.

Couple plants glass in meal to avoid KSh 11k bill

The couple later refused to pay the KSh 11,000 bill and demanded compensation after the woman claimed the glass had nearly damaged her veneers.

The restaurant’s management revealed the incident, sparking outrage on social media.
