Middlesbrough and Scotland striker, Tommy Conway, has spoken very highly of Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, lauding his dressing room impact, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old joined Boro from Sevilla in February, and after a struggling start, the former Leicester City man is getting into his stride.
Ahead of Middlesbrough’s game against Norwich City tomorrow, Conway revealed the signing of Iheanacho has lifted the dressing room.

“He’s been great, Kel, from the moment he got here. What you guys and the fans don’t see is the energy he brings into the dressing room every day.
“He’s always thinking positively, he’s always there to speak to and offer advice. When you consider his experience and his time in the Premier League and what he’s achieved in the game, it’s amazing for someone like me to have.
“He’s a person you respect naturally. He’s a joy to play with, and he’s a joy to share the changing room with as well. He’s a big character. From the day he walked in, he took to it like a duck to water, and everyone took to him as well.
“Credit to him for that, he’s really bought in. I hope he can have a big impact in the remaining games, as I believe he has done already,” Tommy Conway said about Iheanacho in quotes revealed by Gazzette Live.
Middlesbrough are three points outside of the Championship playoff places. They have the opportunity of claim a play-off spot if they defeat Norwich tomorrow, and Coventry next Saturday.
