Memphis Driver Runs Over Repo Man’s Head To Avoid Getting Towed: Watch

Car troubles are never fun, and this one individual in particular was sent into fight or flight mode trying to avoid his vehicle from being taken away from him. Earlier this week, a Memphis driver ran over a repo man who was attempting to load up his car to tow, landing the latter in the hospital.

The Memphis Police Department reported on they responded to the dangerous incident around 8 a.m. on Wednesday (March 26). Footage of the event showed a tow truck driver parked outside University Gardens Manor in Hype Park as he was in the process of attaching up a red Ford Focus to his truck. The assumed owner of the vehicle rushed over to the car and hopped inside as the repo man continued to do his job. The driver then backed up while the repo man is still under the car, running over his head and neck.

In the video, the repo man could be seen screaming out in pain, “F**k! Oh my God, my f**kin’ head! You ran over my f**kin’ head! You’re going to get sued, boy! You’re going to f**kin’ jail!” He later told the police that he heard a woman say “hurry up!” as they sped off.

According to Fox 13 Memphis, Police said the repo man “had abrasions on his head, a large black mark on the front of his sweatshirt, complained of arm pain and had to be shaken to be kept conscious. The repo man was taken to Regional One for treatment.”

The victim, whose Facebook name is Phil Pacman Guy, posted the incident on his account and also shared photos of his injuries. The ordeal made its rounds on social media, and people had a lot to say.

“Obviously, the driver is at fault, but putting your head under a tire when someone is clearly trying to drive away as a bold move,” one person wrote on X, choosing the blame the victum. However, another person on FB urged people to see the severity of the situation, writing, “We find humor in the dumbest things. This man could have lost his life. He could gave suffered permanent brain damage both should go to jail. She never checked to see if this man was ok.”

WREG reported that the man is expected to be okay. The situation is developing, but only time will tell if the victim will follow up on his claims about pursuing legal action.
