Health Department Announces Multiple Job Positions in Pakistan

The Health Department of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) has announced multiple job openings on an ad-hoc basis to fill vacant positions in the medical sector. The hiring will be done through a walk-in interview process, allowing eligible candidates to secure positions based on their qualifications and experience.

Available Positions

The department is looking to fill various medical positions, including:

  • Medical Officers
  • Specialists in Gynecology
  • Pediatric Surgeons
  • Pharmacists

Each position requires specific qualifications, such as MBBS, FCPS, MS, MD, or equivalent postgraduate degrees. Applicants must also have valid professional registration with the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) or the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan, depending on the position.

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for these positions, candidates must:

  • Possess the required educational qualifications in their respective fields.
  • Hold a valid PMDC or Pharmacy Council registration.
  • Have a clean professional record with no prior misconduct.
  • Be ready to work on an ad-hoc basis, meaning these are temporary appointments without permanent job guarantees.

Preference will be given to residents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, but candidates from other regions may also apply.

Interview Schedule

The walk-in interviews will be conducted on different dates at multiple locations. Candidates must bring original documents, including their educational degrees, PMDC/Pharmacy Council registration, and national identification card.

Candidates are advised to arrive on time, as interviews will be conducted in the order of arrival. In case of a large number of applicants, additional interview dates may be scheduled.
