A team of lawmen attached to the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch recovered seven stolen motor vehicles during an operation carried out in Kingston and St Catherine between March 7 and 8.
Reports are that between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 a.m., a team of lawmen armed with search warrants conducted a search on various premises within the Kingston and St Catherine areas, which led to the recovery of the motor vehicles. The vehicles are: a 2015 grey Honda Fit hatchback; a 2015 grey Nissan Note; a 2012 grey Nissan Note; a cloned white 2013 Nissan AD Wagon which was partially scrapped; a partially scrapped white Nissan AD wagon; a partially scrapped 2013 white Nissan Sylphy; and a 2012 white Nissan AD Wagon.
Five people were taken into custody in relation to the recovery; their identities are being withheld pending further investigation.
