ONTARIO, CA — SCB (Systems Certification Body), part of The IAPMO Group, has been accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to provide ISO 27001:2022 certification to existing and prospective clients wishing to demonstrate the effectiveness of their information security management system.

More than 50,000 organizations worldwide are certified to ISO 27001, an internationally recognized standard that provides a framework for the management and protection of sensitive information through a set of policies, procedures, and controls designed to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.

The accreditation adds to SCB’s already comprehensive menu of certification services for organizations wishing to demonstrate their capabilities via systems certification.

Demonstrating Commitment

“Achieving ISO 27001:2022 certification from an accredited certification body such as SCB not only strengthens an organization’s information security framework, but also builds trust with clients and partners,” said Shirley Dewi, SCB senior vice president. “It demonstrates a commitment to safeguarding sensitive data, ensuring compliance with global standards, and mitigating risks in an increasingly digital world. SCB is ready to help your organization take this vital step toward securing business operations and reinforcing a culture of continuous improvement and accountability in information security management.”

SCB is committed to meeting clients’ needs and helping them stay out in front of a complex and always-changing environment. Its customer base serves industries such as aerospace and defense, information technology, medical, automotive, engineering and manufacturing, and service providers/government contractors.
