“Deserves all the hype”-Real Sociedad forward praises Super Eagles’ Victor Osimhen

Soccer

Former Real Sociedad striker Nihat Kahveci has praised Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen for his consistent brilliance for Galatasaray, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been brilliant for Galatasaray since joining them and he is their leading goalscorer. He has ensured that they do not miss Mauro Icardi, who suffered an injury at the start of the season.

Last week, the Super Eagles star scored a hat-trick for the reigning champions to help them defeat Antalyaspor at Rams Park.

Following that performance, Osimhen has gotten a lot of praise. And the latest to talk about the Super Eagles star is Kahveci, who played for Besiktas, Villarreal, and Real Sociedad. He has declared that he will support Osimhen wherever he goes.

“A generation of fans are supporting Galatasaray because of Icardi. But what will happen with Osimhen who knows? This man deserves all kinds of hype. If such players always come, after leaving Galatasaray, I will follow and watch him play in every sense,” Kahveci said, per Fanatik.

Victor Osimhen has had a great stay at Galatasaray, but he will ultimately leave at the end of the season.

The Super Eagles star had to join the Turkish kings last summer due to his inability to get a transfer to a big club in one of the top five leagues. But this time, he will likely get his move and will be looking to make a big impression wherever he goes.

Nonetheless, Osimhen’s major focus will be helping the Lions claim a third-straight Turkish Super Lig title.
