Marc Kamler Joins Evoke Entertainment As Co-Head of Unscripted & Documentary

EXCLUSIVE: Evoke Entertainment, the company formerly known as Cartel Entertainment, is staffing up.

The management and production company has hired Marc Kamler as a manager and Co-Head of Unscripted and Documentary.

Kamler was most recently Head of Unscripted Packaging at Innovative Artists. Before that, he was partner and Head of Unscripted Content at A3 Artists Agency and a partner at APA. He also held roles at ICM and Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann.

He will bring his list of clients, including production companies and talent, to Evoke, which rebranded at the end of last year. He is also producing a Broadway adaptation of The Queen of Versailles, starring Kristin Chenoweth, and has started working in the scripted business.

Evoke already represents unscripted companies including Teamshed (Deb’s House), Looseworld (Waco), Prodigium Films (Gaming Wall Street) and Wanderland Media (A Place in the Sun) as well as directors such as Danielle Fishel (Lopez v. Lopez) and Nick Copus (Bel-Air), and showrunners and writers including Joe Henderson (Lucifer) and Teresa Hsiao (Joy Ride).

The company also produces series including Creepshow for Shudder/AMC, animated family series Twelve Forever for Netflix, Universal/Syfy series Day of the Dead, and the adult animated series Breaking Bear, which is currently in production for Tubi.
