The proposal took place on Christmas Day, with both families present for the memorable moment.

Thea Booyse’s family even flew in from South Africa to celebrate.

Sharing the news on Instagram, MrBeast posted a series of photos with the caption, “Ya boy did a thing.”

In the photos, Thea matched her fiancé in a blue Christmas sweater that read “Mr. Beast. Making the world a better place.”

One picture featured the couple posing with their dogs, while another highlighted Thea’s stunning diamond engagement ring.

In an interview with “People Magazine”, Thea shared details about the proposal, which occurred during their Christmas gift exchange.

She explained, “My family flew out from South Africa for Christmas, and we were going to do Christmas in our house, so both families were here. We were opening presents, and then for the very last present, he asked me to close my eyes because it was a surprise.”

Mr Beast added that he jokingly dropped a large box to grab her attention before revealing the actual gift—a diamond ring.

Thea expressed her excitement about the engagement, saying she can’t wait for their wedding.

However, the couple plans to keep the ceremony private, focused on family and close friends.

This will definitely be more family and friends — definitely more private,” MrBeast said.

“I don’t take much vacation because of how hard I work, so I definitely want to make sure that the wedding will be a time to celebrate with her and spend time with friends and family.”

Thea Booyse hinted they might choose an island location for their wedding, far from the public eye.

We’re thinking of doing it somewhere on an island where we’re far away from just about everybody,” she said.

The couple first met in 2022 during Mr Beast’s trip to South Africa, where they were introduced at a dinner with mutual friends.
