Kanye West speaks out amid report of Bianca Censori divorce

Kanye West has addressed his reported split from Bianca Censori with a cryptic Instagram post on Thursday, breaking his silence following news of their divorce.

The 47-year-old rapper, whose separation from Censori, 29, has been making rounds in the media, posted the definition of “coercion” on social media just an hour after reports surfaced about the end of their marriage.

West and Censori are said to be parting ways just days after she appeared nude on the red carpet at the Grammy Awards. Reports suggest they have verbally agreed that she will receive a $5 million settlement following their brief union, which began in December 2022.

A source close to West confirmed the couple’s breakup, adding that legal proceedings to formally dissolve the marriage are expected in the near future.

Censori, 30, is currently staying at the couple’s $35 million home in Beverly Park North, Los Angeles, while West’s whereabouts remain unclear. Some speculate he may return to Tokyo, Japan, where he spent a significant portion of last year.

During the Grammys on February 2, Censori reportedly looked uncomfortable when West asked her to drop her fur coat and “make a scene” on the red carpet, though she complied.

Friends of the rapper claim the stunt was meant to be artistic and was inspired by the cover of his upcoming album, Vultures 2.

Following the event, West took to X (formerly Twitter), writing: “My wife’s first red carpet opened a whole new world. I keep staring at this photo like I was staring in admiration that night Thinking wow I am so lucky to have a wife that is so smart talented brave and hot.”

He continued: “She took a break from shooting her first film to make a movie in real life We Tailored that invisible dress 6 times And just like magic poof we disappeared.”

In the days after the Grammys, West sparked further controversy with an anti-Semitic rant on social media, declaring his admiration for Hitler and calling himself a Nazi.

During the Super Bowl, he took out an ad to promote his clothing brand, offering only a single item—a $20 t-shirt featuring a Nazi swastika. Shopify shut down the website within 24 hours.

West was subsequently banned from X but returned on Thursday after deleting much of his controversial content. He later described his posts as a “social experiment,” writing: “So funny how N***** rapping about killing N****** is not hate but posting a swastika is hate.”*

His remarks have sparked backlash in Hollywood, with actors Isla Fisher and David Schwimmer among those publicly condemning him.

Earlier this month, West claimed in an interview that he had been “misdiagnosed” with bipolar disorder, insisting instead that he is autistic. He also stated that he and Censori believed he was a former Emperor of Japan.

West was previously married to reality TV star and underwear mogul Kim Kardashian and they have four children North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
