Model-turned-actress Jang Yoon Joo may be joining Jung Jinyoung and Jeon Yeo Been in a new drama!
On February 7, News1 reported that Jang Yoon Joo has joined the cast of the upcoming drama “Nice Woman Boo Se Mi!” (literal title).
In response to the report, Jang Yoon Joo’s agency XYZ Studio stated, “It is one of the projects she’s currently reviewing.”
“Nice Woman Boo Se Mi!” is a romantic comedy that follows a female bodyguard who enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman in hopes of turning her life around. However, to evade those scheming for the chairman’s massive fortune, she is forced to live under a new identity for three months, leading to unexpected twists.
Jeon Yeo Been is reportedly set to take on the titular role of Boo Se Mi, an underprivileged bodyguard who transforms into the epitome of perfection. Meanwhile, Jung Jinyoung is confirmed to play Jeon Dong Min, a single father who becomes entangled with Boo Se Mi as she navigates her new identity.
Jang Yoon Ju has been offered the role of Ga Sun Young, the chaebol chairman’s legitimate daughter. Though she is known for her elegance and grace, she harbors a hidden secret and is not entirely as kind as she appears. If confirmed, this role will mark an exciting transformation in her acting career.
The drama will reportedly begin filming in March and is slated for release in the second half of this year. Stay tuned!
