Calls Mount Against NFL’s Big Shedeur Sanders Announcement as Deion Sanders Falls for Hater’s Nasty Jibe at Family

Football

Now, the Sanders have always been the hate magnet! No matter what they do, HC Deion Sanders and his sons Shedeur and Shilo often catch side eyes. However, the Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders has proved himself. From being the most sacked player in the history of college football to leading to leaving his mark, Deion’s son had the best glow-up. As the NFL Combine is knocking at the door, he has made a bold decision.

However, he got hyped up before setting his foot in the NFL. That did not sit well with the haters who thought of dragging Shedeur through the mud in the comment section. Not even Coach Prime was spared.

Football NFL’s red carpet treatment for Shedeur

Even though Shedeur sees himself as the No. 1 overall pick, analysts now project him as the top-five pick. Over the past few days, his stocks hit some of the lowest notes. CBS Sports analyst now projects Shedeur’s stocks to drop as low as the No. 21 overall spot. Reportedly, the NFL scouts are now doubtful about Shedeur. The reason? The NFL Rookie Watch’s IG post read, “Shedeur Sanders is reportedly being placed behind Cam Ward on several team’s boards now due to “off-the-field/attitude” concerns.” These include his penchant for rapping and his deep love for luxurious watches. Maybe that’s what now has made him extra cautious. As per the reports, Shedeur opted not to throw at this week’s NFL combine. But that did not steal his limelight.

On February 26, the official IG page of the NFL posted a reel, especially for Shedeur. The caption read, “@ShedeurSanders has always been ready for the spotlight ⭐ ????: 2025 #NFLCombine starts Thursday 3pm ET on @nflnetwork ????: Stream on #NFLPlus.” The opening line states, “Shedeur Sanders is no stranger to the spotlight.” It captured the highlight moments of his career, his bond with Deion, and his accolades. The reel showed how Shedeur has always proved his doubters wrong. The video then ended with a thrilling announcement.

“Now Sanders has his eyes set on the biggest stage: The National Football League.” But fans do not care about the announcement. Right now they are busy throwing shots at the Buffs QB for his Combine decision. And guess what? They even dragged Deion into it. As an X user wrote tagging the Buffs HC, “You should be embarrassed to have your son Shadeur not throw at the combine. He’ll never amount to anything and you should be dissatisfied.” By now it has become a habit of the proud father to dodge negative comments. Without spreading any further hate, Shedeur’s Papa Prime replied, “God is so good to me and All my kids. I pray u feel this same feeling that I’m experiencing with your kids. Praying for u my man. God bless u.” But the comment section did give the Buffs QB a tough time.

Football Fan slams Shedeur Sanders for false hype

Well, Shedeur did come up with an explanation behind his decision not to throw in the NFL Combine. He said, “I’m on a strict program of when I’m going to be ready for everything. We’re definitely gaining weight right now, maintaining; we want to be able to be consistent throwing the ball…It’s different areas you want to fix and critique and get better at…” But even then, the fact that the page is hyping up did not sit well with a fan. As he wrote, “Isn’t he not doing the combine.”

Now that Shedeur’s draft stocks are freefalling, from Field Yates’ No. 6 to Tom Fornelli’s No.21 overall pick, it says a lot of things. This might have rocked Shedeur’s confidence, which led to him not throwing the ball in the Combine. So, this came off as a false advertisement. A fan commented, “Why are you advertising Shedeur Sanders and the combine in the same post? This wannabe won’t be there.”

Another fan is upset with the fact that Shedeur fails to walk the talk. Remember when Shedeur called Yates’s No. 6 projections as “crap,” followed by “I ain’t going sixth?” Now, Shedeur’s draft stock is not going as planned. A fan commented, “He’s a loud mouth, little b**** that can’t accomplish anything and believes his hype that was raised by a loud mouth, little b!tcl-l that didn’t accomplish anything and believes his own hype.”

Ever since Shedeur stepped into college, he has dealt with the ‘Nepo Baby’ attacks. Many of the CFB fans believe that the QB is nothing without his $45 million dad. Maybe that’s why one of them believes that it’s a paid promotion, “How much this advertisement cost? ????”

Now not just Shedeur who got called out for favoritism. NBA legend LeBron James’s son Bronny James, too, had put up a mediocre performance. But the 20-year-old now plays for the Los Angeles Lakers with his dad. That’s why a fan wrote, “Shedeur got that bronny treatment.” Will the stars align for Shedeur, giving him the dream ending that also silences every hater along the way?
