From reveal to release in 6 months
Reef Entertainment, the team behind Terminator: Resistance, has today announced that it’s teaming up with developer Bitmap Bureau to make Terminator 2D: No Fate – a new two-dimensional entry in the famous sci-fi franchise.
Launching for Xbox this September, Terminator 2D: No Fate brings characters and scenes from the famous film ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ into video game form – mixing them with “original scenarios” in this new Terminator experience.
“Play as Sarah Connor and the T-800 through a variety of thrilling missions as they take on the T-1000 and try to put a stop to Skynet’s plans before the human race is annihilated. Lead the Resistance as John Connor in the future, fighting on the front lines as mankind’s only hope in the War Against the Machines. In this unique story blending iconic scenes from ‘Terminator 2: Judgment Day’ with original scenarios and multiple endings, humanity’s fate is yours to decide.

Terminator 2D: No Fate launches for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 5th, and you can catch the game’s initial reveal trailer up above. The team has also provided us with some of the key features and a short ViDoc on bringing the title to life – both of which we’ll throw down below.
