dRPC to Debut Alice in Nodeland at ETHDenver

The 11-minute animated film takes a humorous and imaginative dive into the world of web3.

dRPC highlights the importance of decentralization in blockchain infrastructure. Let’s discover more about it.

A Web3 Wonderland

Alice in Nodeland offers a colorful, irreverent take on the current web3 landscape. The protagonist, a frustrated web3 developer, tumbles down the rabbit hole and into a battle against the feared Queen of Nodes, a character crypto veterans may recognize. Along the way, she encounters familiar figures reimagined for the blockchain era—the Mad Hatter as an eccentric DAO leader, the Cheshire Cat as a mischievous crypto trickster, and the Queen’s Guards, programmed to resist decentralization at all costs.

“With all the twists and turns in crypto, the space can sometimes feel as wild as Alice in Wonderland,” said Fito Benítez, dRPC’s Head of Marketing. “We wanted to capture that adventure and whimsy while also sharing our vision for a decentralized future.”

Experience Alice in Nodeland at ETHDenver

ETHDenver, the world’s largest Ethereum developer event, runs from February 23 to March 2 in Colorado. dRPC’s Alice in Nodeland will debut on February 25, offering attendees a unique experience. Delegates can watch the film in a dedicated mobile bus with free popcorn or stream it online. To celebrate the premiere, dRPC will also be handing out limited edition movie merchandise.

A trailer for the film, released on dRPC’s X account, gives a sneak peek at Alice’s adventure. The story underscores the challenges of centralized chokepoints in web3 and highlights the role of RPC nodes in decentralizing blockchain data access.

More Than Just Entertainment

While Alice in Nodeland is designed to entertain, it also serves a deeper purpose: raising awareness about dRPC’s multi-chain solution. dRPC provides web3 developers and users with access to a distributed network of independent public nodes, ensuring blockchain infrastructure remains diverse and resistant to control by any single entity.

Through its pay-as-you-go model, dRPC eliminates hefty upfront costs. It  allows developers to scale resources as needed. This keeps costs predictable, simplifies budgeting, and encourages innovation. All crucial in an industry known for its rapid changes and surprises.
