Relationship expert, Blessing CEO, has shared her personal experience of being groomed by her ex-husband, whom she married at the tender age of 18 and divorced three years later.

Blessing took to Instagram to recount her story, detailing how she met her ex-husband at 14, when he was 14 years her senior.

She bravely shared how he groomed her, and she remained a virgin until their path crossed.

The relationship expert emotionally revealed the lasting impact of her experience, including the physical and emotional scars.

She also spoke about missing out on her youthful years due to being into premature adulthood.

Blessing’s divorce proceedings were a lengthy and challenging process, lasting five years and involving threats and societal shame.

However, she said he has emerged stronger and more determined to help others.

She said: “I was 14 to 15 years old when I met my ex-husband who was 14 years older than me. I got married to him when I was 18 and I divorced him when I was 21. He groomed me and I was a virgin. He was the first man I ever met, he groomed me and married me but guess what? I left. That’s why there is a blessing CEO today. I had a son for that man and the first ever scar on my body was my C-section scar.

“I never experienced a youthful phase because I was so young and had to mature quickly. I was never involved in the typical dating scene.”

“Even after I left the man at 21, he stressed me until I was 26 on that divorce matter. It took me 5 years to get a divorce and custody, he threatened me. I had to wait for us to properly get a divorce before I could move on with my life. Even when I left, society shamed me.”
