Marcus Rashford wants to join Barcelona this summer

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford wants to join Barcelona in the summer transfer window, according to The Sun. Rashford switched to Aston Villa on loan from United in the January transfer window, but his long-term plan is to move to Barcelona.

The report in the British tabloid has noted that Barcelona were keen on signing Rashford on loan from United in the January transfer window. However, the Spanish and European giants could not muster up the finances to make a deal happen.

Rashford has been on the books of United his entire professional club football career so far. The England international forward came through the Red Devils’ youth system and established himself in the first team, but his performances have been disappointing  It is hard to see Rashford return to Old Trafford after his loan spell at Villa ends at the end of the season.
