A Florida man is behind bars after he allegedly stabbed a woman “multiple” times Sunday morning.
Pensacola Police said they arrested Dominique Fountain, 35, and charged him with attempted murder, WEAR reported.
Police were called to the scene for a welfare check at about 6 a.m.
“A female victim was located with multiple stab wounds by a passerby who called 911,” police said in a release. “An argument had transpired inside of a residence and continued outside where a physical altercation ensued, and the victim was stabbed numerous times.”
The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.
Fountain was identified as the suspect, located, and arrested.
