Sheinelle Jones says she’s ‘taking time’ away from TODAY: ‘I’ll see you soon’

Sheinelle Jones has announced she is taking some time off the air from TODAY in order to attend to “a family health matter.”

She updated fans with a message on Instagram that was read on the show by Savannah Guthrie on Jan. 15.

“Hi everybody … I sincerely appreciate all of you who have reached out while I’ve been absent from the show,” Sheinelle said. “I want to share with you that I’m taking time to deal with a family health matter.
