Luigi Mangione shot to the headlines after becoming the prime suspect in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, for which a manhunt went on for days on end until Thompson was captured. NYPD officials had a few field days trying to nab a suspect in this shocking incident, and tried to use every resource at their disposal, and even federal authorities tried to assist them in the case.

Which prison will be hosting Luigi Mangione?

Meanwhile, Mangione will be seeing multiple rounds of a New York courthouse, and The Mirror US’ report suggests that the alleged shooter will be put into the same detention center in Brooklyn, where alleged sex trafficker and hip-hop mogul Sean Diddy Combs is lodged. This is indeed a notorious development, and has caught the eyes of everyone. Moreover, the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Centre is already considered a dangerous place in the US, and with the entry of Mangione, things have a chance of getting even more intense inside.

Due to the severity of the cases of Combs and Mangione, it is obvious that they will be kept under maximum security. Meanwhile, Mangione may keep claiming bail around this incident, even though the initial pleas could be duly rejected by the courthouse due to the occurrences at hand. However, till now, he has not appealed strongly for a bail, and will remained detained i the Brooklyn prison, as per reports.
