Central Florida High School Diamonds | Five Must See High School Football Players

As you know, I have lived in Central Florida for years, and continue to watch local players film and I am amazed by the talent in my surrounding area. I know scouts recruit the Orlando and Tampa Area, and they love coming to Ocala, but the area between Orlando and Ocala sometimes is unmarked territory. That is why I wanted to talk about five players who should absolutely be on the radar of college football teams.

Let’s talk about Five of the biggest stars in the Central Florida area!

  • Name: Izayia Williams
  • High School: Tavares High School
  • Position: Linebacker
  • Height: 6’1
  • Weight: 210
  • Class of 2026
  • Twitter: @Izayia_williams

Scouting Report:

Izayia Williams is a versatile and hard-hitting linebacker with a natural instinct for the game. Known for his sideline-to-sideline range, he is excellent in both run defense and pass coverage, showcasing the ability to cover ground quickly and make plays in all phases of the game. His football IQ is impressive, as he can read plays before they develop and put himself in position to disrupt the offense. Williams isn’t afraid to step up and deliver punishing hits, demonstrating a physical edge that sets the tone for his defense. With his leadership and relentless motor, he’s a standout in Tavares’ linebacker corps and a player with the potential to make a major impact at the next level. He has landed over 20 plus offers with Colorado and Oregon coming recently.

  • Name: Jamarian Clark
  • High School: Leesburg High School
  • Position: Wide Receiver

Scouting Report:

A dynamic 5’10 wide receiver with impressive burst and playmaking ability. He consistently separates from defenders with his quick acceleration and sharp cuts, making him a threat both in the open field and on contested catches. His route running is polished, showing good precision and the ability to change direction fluidly to create separation. With a natural feel for the game, he’s able to make plays after the catch, turning short routes into big gains. Already holding an offer from UNLV, his strong fundamentals and playmaking ability make him a highly recruited prospect with the potential to make an immediate impact at the next level.

  • Name: Patrick Harding
  • High School: The Villages Charter School
  • Position: Quarterback
  • Class of 2026
  • Height: 6’3
  • Weight: 190
  • Twitter: @patrickbeballin

Scouting Report:

A polished pro-style quarterback with a smooth, tight spiral and excellent arm strength. Shows advanced accuracy on deep throws and intermediate routes, consistently placing the ball where only his receiver can make a play. Smart and well-coached, his football IQ is exceptional—able to quickly read defenses and make sound decisions under pressure. Trained at the prestigious Manning Passing Academy, refining his technique, mechanics, and understanding of the quarterback position. His footwork is clean, and his release is quick, though his mobility within the pocket and outside of it could be further developed. Overall, a highly intelligent, efficient quarterback with a high ceiling, poised to excel at the next level with continued growth. His brother Jon-Jon was a zero star prospect entering his final year at the Villages and received 26 offers and committed to Memphis as a tight end. Harding should have 20 plus offers and has yet to receive one! That will quickly change when colleges come through.
