Murder Mystery of the Dead Anime Offers Bloody Trailer

The party game Murder Mystery of the Dead is getting an anime adaptation, and a trailer has dropped for it. While watching the bloody footage you can hear the opening theme song “Kyozo” (translated as “False Image”) being performed by Virtual YouTuber idol project Mixstgirls.

You don’t hear it in this trailer, but the ending theme song is titled “Make Your Chance” and performed by Virtual athlete gaming.
The show starts on November 13.
Looking toward the cast, Moe Kahara plays Mikoto Amano, Lynn plays Ranna Kuze, Kiyono Yasuno plays Yū Kodama, Madoka Asahina plays Rumina, Maki Kawase plays Fumika Shinohara, Tsubaki Makino plays Riri Aramaki, and Hikaru Tohno plays Murumuru.
The Murder Mystery of the Dead anime is being made at ABC Animation and Balus, with Tomohiro Ishii, who has a background in 3DCG and CG animation, helming the project as director. The scripts are being penned by Teren Mikami, who is known for the light novel series There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… Those scripts will be looked over by Giggle Akiguchi, someone who was involved in the creation of the game.
The game version of Murder Mystery of the Dead is meant for seven to eight players. Amazon gave this description for it:
