The city of Rourkela is hosting a prominent business meeting – Business Conclave 2024 –, bringing together more than 100 executives from small and large enterprises from Sundargarh district. The conclave was started on Friday.

Discussions have been focusing on the strategic expansion of small industries with the collaboration and support from the State government. The event is taking place near the airport in Rourkela and features the attendance of Industry Minister Sampad Chandra Swain and Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Gokulananda Mallik.

In addition, various educational institutions in Rourkela are showcasing their startups at the conclave. This programme is set to continue over the next three days.

“Business Conclave 2024, which is being organised by Rourkela Chamber of Commerce, is certainly a matter of pride for all of us. This will provide a new direction for our State. Efforts are on by the Odisha Government to help organise such events,” Industry Minister Sampad Chandra Swain said mediapersons.

“The main aim of this business conclave is to reflect the State government’s vision of Viksit Odisha. The platform has brought together small, medium and large industries,” MSME Minister Gokulananda Mallik expressed.
