Napoli-owned striker Victor Osimhen has revealed plans to contact Victor Boniface’s club manager, Xabi Alonso, following a playful congratulatory message from the Bayer Leverkusen forward, Soccernet.ng reports.

Boniface recently shared an image on social media featuring two luxury cars—a Ferrari Monza and a Bugatti Mistral—alongside a caption directed at Osimhen.

The post read, “Congratulations Senior man, Victor Osimhen, 2025 don stew for you already,” hinting at a light-hearted joke about the futuristic purchase of the vehicles.

The Super Eagles duo has continued their playful social media banter from 2024, with Boniface regularly teasing Osimhen.

This time, Osimhen responded with humour, where he suggested he might contact Alonso to keep Boniface in check.

“I need to reach out to [Xabi] Alonso now, cause which kind person you be na,” he wrote, accompanied by a laughing emoji.

Their bond has been evident in their public appearances together, such as when Boniface joined Osimhen to celebrate his new car purchase.

These moments of connection off the field are expected to translate into an even stronger partnership on the pitch as the duo looks to secure Nigeria’s qualification for the 2026 World Cup in upcoming matches against Rwanda and Zimbabwe.
