Nigeria Is Only Missing Right Leaders To Be Unstoppable – Davido [Video]

Afrobeats star, Davido has emphasized the importance of good leadership in unlocking the full potential of Nigeria and Africa.

In a recent interview with “Elevate Africa” published on YouTube, Davido praised the resilience of Nigerians, emphasizing that with visionary leaders, the country could achieve remarkable progress.

He said, “We can’t go forward without…we need the best leaders now first, that’s the most important thing.”

The singer acknowledged Nigerians’ incredible adaptability and determination but pointed out that poor governance has held the nation back.

When asked about Africa’s potential and the role of music in its progress, Davido reflected on the enduring strength of Nigerians, noting their ability to thrive under challenging circumstances.

“Where do you think Africa should be by now, and how do we get there through music?” Davido reflected on the tenacity of Nigerians, highlighting their ability to thrive in challenging environments.

“I tell people, I say if you can survive in Lagos or you can survive in Nigeria rather, you can survive anywhere. I feel like we’re survivors; we’re strong-willed people,” he said.

Davido also spoke on the global presence of Nigerians, which he believes is a testament to their resilience and influence.

He said, “Nigeria, if you go anywhere in the world, everybody has Nigerian friends. Whether you’re Chinese or…you have Nigerian friends everywhere in the world. I fly to do shows, Nigerian restaurants are there, and Nigerian communities are there. It just shows that we’re a force.”

He concluded by emphasizing that effective leadership is the missing ingredient for Nigeria to reach its full potential.

“I just feel the only thing is just missing is just the right leaders to lead us. Once we get that right, I don’t think there’s anything that will stop us,” he added.
