New Orleans Saints: Trending Down

The New Orleans Saints are out of the running for the playoffs. Following a blowout loss on Monday Night Football, the Saints will look to bounce back and show a little heart against the Las Vegas Raiders, a team with a 3-12 record. Spencer Rattler should start again, and the Saints will be at home rather than in sub-freezing conditions in hostile territory. For those wondering, a win would not negatively impact their draft position either, as getting to 6 wins would only tie them with the 49ers who, if they lose to Detroit Monday, would lose on tiebreaker to the Saints vis strength of schedule and the Saints would still be picking 10th. No reason not to go out and beat the Raiders this week, let’s not wilt at the end of the season when the going gets tough.

Las Vegas Raiders: Trending Down

The Las Vegas Raiders won for the first time since Week 4 last week with a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite this, they are still sitting at 3-12 in one of the most competitive divisions in football as they are staring up at three teams headed to the playoffs. The Raiders are hoping now for a top 3 pick they could potentially use on a franchise quarterback but showed last week that they are still here to compete and win.
