What made you decide you wanted to be a football player?

I knew I wanted to play football when I first watched the Patriots beat everyone. I wanted to part of a team that wins and has fun.

What are your favorite moments from your football life?

I want to say the grinding/ competing with my teammates. Going through adversity builds stronger bonds. Dying in those winter/summer workouts is fun!

What are you looking to achieve as a football player going forward?

I want to improve and be the best player I can be. I want to prove that I can compete and dominate at a high level

If you could hang out with any football player past or present for a day, who and why?

Either Trent Brown or Tom Brady those guys are legends for the Patriots. I grew up watching the
Patriots destroying the Dolphins. That’s how I became a fan of them

Which one of your family members inspires you the most and why?

I would say my Uncle Orville is somebody who always chases dreams and tries to get what he wants regardless of anything going on he stays a true hard worker in my eyes just shows that no matter what happens as long as you don’t stop you can get what you want just got to fight through all adversity.

What is your favorite offensive scheme and why?

I would Zone schemes like IZ and Outside because it’s us 5 against any defense. I like my guys over anybody. Especially OZ when I’m at the point of attack.

What should we know about Damion Powell the person?

I would say I’m someone who can be in any environment and can adapt to anything. I am a positive person who believes they can do anything.

What stands out about your film the most?

In the run game, I try to dominate my opponent to make the RB have the best hole to run threw. In the pass game, I try to give my quarterback all the time he needs to make the best read/ choice.

How do you handle challenges both in life and on the football field?

I attack my problems head-on. I face challenges in life that often involve working together with others and coming up with a game plan to tackle the obstacles. It’s all about staying focused, being resilient, and never giving up!

What would a team get in a player like you?

A team would get a great competitor and a versatile team player. I’m someone who will keep the team together through good or bad times. I would put the team first for us to win.

What do you love the most about the game of football?

I think the excitement of teamwork and strategy in football is amazing! It’s all about how players work together to achieve a common goal.

Who is the most underrated player you’ve played with and why?

I want to say my boy Kris Caine he plays OLB/DE. He’s a versatile hybrid that can be effective in the run and pass game. He has great get off speed and he can run across the field and make a tackle.
