Nigerian artist Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo, known as Blackface, has revealed his intention to bring back the old music group Platanshun Boiz in 2024, along with a hint about a new music project.
In a recent chat with media figure Daddy Freeze, Blackface mentioned he is working on a new song.
He reminisced about Platanshun Boiz, sharing how he began with 2Baba and later added Faze to the group, despite 2Baba’s initial resistance.
Blackface emphasized that he led the now-defunct label and decided to keep the name after they separated.
“I am the head of Plantashiun Boiz not TuBaba. I Brought 2Baba To Plantashiun Boiz,” Blackface said during the interview.
In a clip, Blackface talked about how he created the name Plantashiun Boiz during his time farming.
