EA Sports FC Mobile hosts 2024 Nexon Icon Match in real life this weekend

Nexon is giving football fans a special treat this weekend as EA Sports FC Online and EA Sports FC Mobile join forces to host the 2024 Nexon Icon Match. This epic clash of football talent is an IRL match where legendary players from all over the world will compete in a real-world exhibition match, held in Seoul, South Korea this weekend.

In particular, the iconic match is running from now until October 20th at Seoul World Cup Stadium, where crowd faves Didier Drogba and Rio Ferdinand will be taking part among other icons. Other fan faves include Ballon d’Or winners Kaka, Figo, Shevchenko, Owen, and Rivaldo, as well as Hazard, Forlán, and Tévez.

There’s a special pre-match event today where 1-on-1 matchups commence along with a shooting competition. Then, tomorrow, there will be a 90-minute match where teams will fight for the trophy and the ultimate bragging rights.
