WWE Survivor Series 2024 Winners And Grades

Team Rhea Wins WWE Women’s WarGames

True Classic, Sonic 3 and Diablo IV were some of the sponsors added to the ring mat in addition to Prime Hydration.

Candice LeRae took forever to find a weapon under the ring before she officially entered the match.

Nia Jax connected with some of the worst chairshots ever on Bayley and Naomi. She barely touched them. When Naomi put her hands up, Jax could be heard saying “no, bitch…” as she gently tapped Naomi on the back with a chair.

Staying true to form, Iyo hit a moonsault wearing a garbage can. Simultaneously, Stratton hit a Swanton Bomb on the babyfaces. These spots were easily the best spots of a mistake-filled match.

Tiffany teased cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase, but before she could decide between Liv Morgan and Nia Jax, her cash-in was literally extinguished by Iyo Sky.

Rhea Ripley picked up a big win with a great Riptide from the top rope through a table.

Women’s WarGames Grade: B-

Shinsuke Nakamura Def. LA Knight

LA Knight dropped the Untied States Championship and Corey Graves covered for him by saying there was “internal turmoil” within LA Knight due to a darker Shinsuke Nakamura.

Michael Cole described this as a “must win match” for the recently returning Nakamura. This was a tell that he was likely going over, as he should.

After a botch in the corner, the announce team continued to tell the story that LA Knight couldn’t get anything going and was not in the right mental space to contend with The Nakataker.

After Nakamura dropped LA Knight on his his head, and right on the steel, he finished LA Knight off with a Kinshasa for the win.

LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura Grade: B

Bron Breakker Def. Ludwig Kaiser And Sheamus

Bron Breakker might be the Darby Allin of WWE, where the promotion will need to step in and protect him from himself with all these death-defying spots.

WWE didn’t tell a good enough story for this to be the moment where Sheamus finally wins his first IC Title. It didn’t matter, because at one point this match got so good fans fell for every false finish.

Just when Sheamus seemed like he was going to finally win the Intercontinental Title, Ludwig Kaiser pulled the referee out of the ring and used the Shillelagh on Sheamus.

“Fight Forever” is an overused chant, but I’m pretty sure I could watch Bron Breakker, Ludwig Kaiser and Sheamus literally fight forever.

IC Title Triple Threat Grade: B+

GUNTHER Def. Damian Priest

GUNTHER was tentative early, but then wrestled a clinic for the first half of the match. An impressive submission hold from GUNTHER to Priest received an applause.

Damian Priest simply does not miss as a babyface these day. The man made a monster comeback with one arm after GUNTHER (kayfabe) injured him early in the match. Fans were very much behind this comeback.

Priest’s arm gave out on him as he attempted a Razor’s Edge, allowing GUNTHER to capitalize with a Powerbomb, but only for a two count. Priest came back with a hurricanrana and a Razor’s Edge, but as his arm continued to ail him, it was only for a nearfall.

There was a botch toward the end of the match that caused chants of “you f—ked up!” this brought out Finn Balor, who hit a Coup de Grace on Priest on the outside. GUNTHER punted Balor out of the way and hit a rear-naked choke on Priest for the win.

GUNTHER vs. Damian Priest Grade: B+

The OG Bloodline Wins Men’s WarGames

The glare that Roman Reigns gave CM Punk inside the cage was all you needed to see to understand the tense dynamic between Reigns and Punk.

Jacob Fatu and Bronson Reed both entered the match as unstoppable forces, but Fatu lived up to that billing by no-selling everything that was given to him.

Corey Graves described Jacob as “all the gifts an athlete could dream of with none of the morals.”

When Jacob Fatu entered the match, it was because Solo called an audible over Tonga Loa. When Sami entered the match, it was because Roman called an audible over CM Punk. This did not sit well with Punk.

Solo Sikoa smashed one babyface after another with the cage door before even entering into the ring. The announce team told the story of the New Bloodline being a better team than the OG Bloodline.

Roman Reigns fought his way into the cage after Solo tried to lock him out. This led to a face-to-face showdown between Reigns and Punk. Paul Heyman walked out and begged the two to work together.

Roman accidentally speared Punk in the middle of a GTS. This led to a Samoan Spike on Reigns for a nearfall.

The New Bloodline vs. The OG Bloodline Grade: A
