The lifestyle brand merges forces with global creative collective, Brain Dead.

Oakley Factory Team is venturing into the future with its latest footwear collection, teaming up with global creative collective, Brain Dead.

Cast your mind back: the year is 1975 and Jim Jannard is mapping out his plans for what’s to become an era-defining lifestyle brand, now known to the masses as Oakley. Specialising in sunglasses and goggles, the Californian brand first lent its vision to professional athletes and extreme sports, later falling into the hands of trend-led subcultures and spaces.

With the latest resurgence of the SubZero frames, Oakley has bounced back with plans to calibrate forward-thinking technology for the day-to-day. Drawing together the ideas of creatives from all across the globe, Brain Dead inherit a bold, disruptive approach to clothing, artwork, homewear and more.

Experimenting with new textures and colourways, the collaboration offers a new spin on Flesh, Flesh Sandal, Paguro and Chop Saw Mules, ensuring comfort and durability in design. Influenced by techno-utopian architecture, each model prides research on liquid materiality, breaking new grounds of innovation and identity.

The collection is available to purchase on April 9th at 10AM PST via select stores wearebraindead.com and oakley.com.
