Garmin has reduced the price of its Fenix 6S – Pro Solar Edition smartwatch by US$470 in the US, meaning you can currently buy the gadget for just US$329. Features of the wearable include solar charging for enhanced battery life of up to 10.5 days. You can also use the watch for heart rate monitoring, GPS and training tools.

The Garmin Fenix 6S – Pro Solar Edition in Light Gold with Light Sand Band is discounted in the US. At the Garmin store, you can now purchase the device for just US$329, a price cut of US$470 or 49% off the US$799.99 retail price. The wearable is also available at Amazon US, though with a smaller 9% discount lowering the price to US$729. Other colorways are not currently available.

The Fenix 6S has a 42mm (~1.65-in) display with a Power Glass solar charging lens. Solar charging can enable up to 10.5 days of battery life between charges with typical use or 59 days in power-saving mode. Health tools on the wearable include wrist-based heart rate and pulse ox measurements. Plus, you can track your exercise with the smartwatch, using tools like PacePro running pace guidance and Training Status to optimize your workout.

The gadget also has multi-GNSS support with TOPO maps to help you navigate your surroundings. It is worth noting that constant GPS use reduces the battery life to 28 hours, including solar power. Other features include music playback, Garmin Pay contactless payments and smart notifications from a connected phone. It is unclear how long these deals on the Garmin Fenix 6S – Pro Solar Edition smartwatch will last.
