During the charity auction earlier in the month, the ‘P7’ plate was affixed to limited-edition Bugatti Divo worth $5.9 million.

A world record-breaking ‘P7’ number plate has been spotted on an all-electric Tesla Model X SUV just days after an unnamed buyer paid an eye-watering 55 million dirhams ($15 million) to buy it at a charity auction in Dubai.

Footage of the $15 million plate hitting the road on the black Tesla in Dubai was shared by Omar Sultan Al Olama on Twitter. Al Olama, a UAE Minister, also recalled Tesla owner Elon Musk’s visit to Dubai.

I remember @elonmusk‘s visit to Dubai to officially launch @Tesla. Now, a Model X carries the most expensive car number plate in the world ($15 million) in which all proceeds went to feeding people around the world. Next step is autonomous driving for the masses in the UAE. pic.twitter.com/J2qTMUj0vM

While many thinks that six-to-seven figure ultra-luxury cars from brands like Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Bugatti or Mercedes-Maybach will be taken the vanity plate for spin, the unknown owner has decided to affix it to a Tesla Model X which starts at $99,990.
