A leaker has provided information about alleged POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro colour options. The same leaker has outlined memory options for the pair ahead of their launch, which Xiaomi is rumoured to have scheduled for later this month.

Earlier this week, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) shared a hands-on photo of 23049PCD8G, an unreleased POCO smartphone. While the regulatory body did not reveal Xiaomi’s intended marketing name, the device bears an uncanny resemblance with the Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro. Seemingly, 23049PCD8G is the model number for a POCO F5 series, but it is unclear whether it relates to the POCO F5 or the POCO F5 Pro.

Regardless, @passionategeekz claims to have obtained information about the POCO F5 series’ colour and memory options. Allegedly, Xiaomi will not offer either device in three memory configurations, as the FCC suggested. According to @passionategeekz, there will be no 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage variant. Instead, Xiaomi will only sell the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro with 256 GB of non-expandable storage, plus 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM.

The leaker adds that both models will be available in black and white colour options. Presumably, the image below represents the latter colour option, rather than a prototype variant. However, @passionategeekz asserts that Xiaomi will sell the POCO F5 in a blue colour option too, which we imagine will be the same hue offered in the Redmi K60. Currently, Xiaomi is expected to launch the POCO F5 and POCO F5 Pro globally later this month.
