L’ANSM retire ces produits naturels « détox » du commerce à cause de leur composition dangereuse

L’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM) vient d’interdire à la vente une marque de produits pour maigrir, après avoir retrouvé dans sa composition une substance interdite depuis 2010. En France, 19 personnes ont présenté des effets secondaires indésirables graves.

Des produits « détox » favorisant la perte de poids et présentés à la vente comme « naturels » viennent d’être interdits par l’Agence nationale de sécurité du médicament et des produits de santé (ANSM), selon un communiqué du 11 avril dernier. La raison est que de nombreux effets indésirables ont été rapportés depuis le 28 mars 2023 par une vingtaine de personnes françaises ayant consommé les produits Trex Tea (poudre), Trex Caps (gélules) ou Trex Plus (forme effervescente). Parmi les effets secondaires, on trouve des troubles du rythme cardiaque, de l’hypertension, des crises d’épilepsie, des maux de tête ou encore de l’anorexie.

Le produit n’avait même pas été correctement évalué, ni obtenu d’autorisation de mise sur le marché, comme indiqué par l’ANSM : « ce produit n’a pas fait l’objet, avant sa commercialisation, d’une AMM telle que prévue à l’article L.5121-8 du CSP, justifiant de l’évaluation de sa qualité et de son rapport bénéfice-risque favorable ».

Un produit « à base de plantes » à la composition douteuse

Sur le site Internet du produit, rien d’inquiétant. Il est présenté comme préparé « à base de plantes » et contenant notamment de la poudre d’écorce de riz de bouleau, du palmier nain, de la baie de goji, de la stévia, des extraits de feuille de lotus et de cannelle. Seulement, l’agence a retrouvé de la sibutramine et du sildenafil dans sa composition. La sibutramine est un médicament contre l’obésité qui a été commercialisé, puis interdit en Europe en 2010 à cause d’effets secondaires graves. Le sildenafil est un médicament prescrit en cas de troubles de l’érection et peut aussi engendrer des effets indésirables potentiellement graves.

L’ANSM demande aux consommateurs de ne plus utiliser ces produits et de consulter un médecin en cas d’effet indésirable ressenti dans le cas d’une précédente ingestion.
