Only a handful of successful Love Is Blind couples exist, but Tiffany Pennywell and Brett Brown seemed destined to become one of them from the jump. The season-four couple instantly connected in the pods, and it’s been something of a fairy tale ever since. Well, at least from what we’ve seen in the first five episodes. They’ve had relatively few hurdles so far. But this is Love Is Blind—the only thing more reliable than those golden goblets is the fact that there will be twists.
Do they say “I do” at the altar? Or do they break our hearts? To quote Tyra Banks, “We were all rooting for you!” So let’s dig into what happened with Tiffany and Brett and whether or not they’re still together.
(PS: We also checked in with Micah and Paul, Chelsea and Kwame, Jackelina and Marshall, and Irina and Zack…and Zack and Bliss.)
Who are they?
Brett Brown, 36, is a design director at Nike who told Netflix he’s looking for a partner who is “successful, independent, and strong.” According to his Instagram, he’s also a photographer and former video game developer. We can attest to those photography skills at least—his feed is filled with gorgeously shot images.
Tiffany Pennywell, 37, is a client lead recruiter who describes herself on social media as a “lover of good vibes, good people, and a good Caipirinha.” (Same, Tiffany. Same.)
What went down on the show?
Tiffany and Brett seemed to lock into each other fairly early in the process, bonding over their shared values and the fact that they both wore teal outfits on the same day. (Love really is blind!) So far, the only real hiccup between the two was also extremely adorable: Tiffany falls asleep mid-conversation just as Brett is declaring his love.
As he tells the bros back in the men’s quarters, “Our conversation was, ‘I think I’m falling in love with you.’ And then I’m telling her how I feel and then it’s quiet and then, ‘Hello?’”
Poor Tiffany was mortified to discover what happened and apologized to Brett the next day, saying, “I passed out because I was listening to your voice and it was so soothing. Did I just mess everything up?”
Luckily, she did not. Brett proposes, they meet IRL, and they seem to have a conflict-free time in Mexico. Once they return to Seattle, they continue to be the strongest couple of the season. They help each other through the stress of wedding planning. They have important conversations about their views on things like money without any issue. And they meet each other’s family and friends without any drama. Not one ounce of negativity here, thank God.
Did they get married?
Yes! Not much of a surprise here, but that doesn’t make it any less sweet when the couple both said “I will” in the finale that aired on Friday, April 14. “I’m ready to embark on this next journey that we have together,” Tiffany says after the wedding. Adds Brett, “I feel like I truly found my life partner, and I’m just thrilled to start our life together.”
But are they still together?
We’ll have to wait and see for sure when the live reunion special airs on Sunday, April 16 at 8 p.m. ET. If it helps, the other pairings from this season seem to have the most faith in their success. When Chelsea asks Kwame which couples he thinks will make it, he says Tiffany and Brett without hesitation.
Also of note: While doing some Internet sleuthing, we noticed that Tiffany and Brett both use #Chapter35 to describe milestone birthdays on Instagram. Coincidence? Or a sign that they’re still together? We’ll let you decide.
