Xiaomi has launched the Smart Air Fryer Pro 4L in the EU. The gadget is selling for between €129.99 (~US$142) and €149 (~US$162), depending on the country. The device has a transparent window, reducing the need to open the drawer and pause cooking. Plus, you can control the air fryer via an app.
The Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer Pro 4L has been launched in the EU. Announced earlier this year, you can now buy the device in countries such as France for €149 (~US$162). The gadget is also available in Spain and Germany for the lower price of €129.99 (~US$142). It remains unclear whether or when the air fryer could launch in other markets like the UK.
The Smart Air Fryer Pro can be used for baking, yogurt making, fruit drying, defrosting, fermenting, and air frying. These varied cooking functions are available due to the broader temperature range of the gadget, from 40 to 200°C (~104 to 392°C). The 4L capacity allows you to cook two steaks or 12 chicken wings simultaneously. Plus, the device has an unusual design with a transparent window, allowing you to monitor the cooking of your food without opening the drawer and releasing heat.
An accompanying app allows remote control of the air fryer, including scheduling a future start time, and provides recipes to suit the kitchen gadget. A built-in OLED display shows the cooking time remaining, and the Xiaomi device can remind you when to shake the food. Also recently launched in the Netherlands was the Xiaomi Smart Air Fryer 6L, a more basic gadget with a greater capacity, making it suitable for larger families. This air fryer currently retails for €149.99 (~US$164).
