Energy efficient AIRLEO Duo Eco Air System is now crowdfunding

A Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for the AIRLEO Duo Eco Air System is live. You can use the gadget to heat or cool your home with unique technology making it energy efficient; the company estimates an average daily energy consumption of 2 kW. The device can be controlled via an app and has a built-in night light and USB ports.

The AIRLEO Duo Eco Air System is crowdfunding on Kickstarter. With the campaign ending on May 27, the company has already reached double its funding target. The product is billed as an “energy-efficient cooling and heating system” powered by the AIRLEO’s patented Low-Temperature Evolutionary Ozone (LEO) technology. This minimizes the heat generated by the device thanks to an air-folding technique, with an average of 2 kW power consumption per day.

The Duo Eco Air System’s vent creates a heating “bubble” and can run quietly, generating as little as 38 dB of noise. Wheels and handles make the gadget easier to move around your home, and a night light makes it easy to spot in the dark. You can control the heater’s settings using the AIRLEO app, and you can use two integrated USB ports to charge small gadgets like your smartphone. The framed version of the device measures 410 x 328 x 710 mm (~16.1 x 12.9 x 28.0-in) and has a 2.8 L water tank.

Super Early Bird pledges for the AIRLEO Duo Eco Air System frameless and framed models are currently available for S$419 (~US$315) and S$517 (~US$388), respectively. The MSRPs for the two gadgets are US$519 and US$589. AIRLEO is shipping its products from Singapore to select countries, like the US, UK, Australia and the Netherlands, with delivery estimated for July.
