European pricing has surfaced for the Sony WF-C700N, as well as various release dates across the region. A full specification sheet for Sony’s next mid-range earbuds has leaked too.

Yesterday, @OnLeaks and MySmartPrice revealed various press images and specifications for the WF-C700N, a pair of forthcoming earbuds that should serve as WF-C500 successors. However, the WF-C700N will offer active noise cancellation (ANC), which the WF-C500 lacks. Subsequently, @billbil_kun has leaked a full specification sheet for the WF-C700N, embedded below.

It is worth noting that @billbil_kun has pointed out a mistake in these technical specifications. While they read ‘EHR’, this should read DSEE, an acronym of Digital Sound Enhancement Engine, Sony’s audio upscaling technology. Based on the image below, the WF-C700N will also feature 5 mm drivers and the same 20-hour overall battery life as its predecessor with ANC switched off. Enabling ANC will reduce runtimes from 10 hours of continuous use to 7:30 hours, though.

According to @billbil_kun, Sony will announce the WF-C700N as early as April 4 in Europe, although release dates will vary. Supposedly, the WF-C700N may not arrive until 10 days later in some European countries. The leaker adds that the earbuds will retail for €119.99 in France, where VAT is charged at 20%. Thus, the WF-C700N may be €5 or so cheaper in Germany but more in most other Eurozone countries. It remains to be seen how much the WF-C700N will cost elsewhere, but we imagine that the earbuds will receive a global launch throughout next month.
