Introduction to TWS constitution
At the heart of The World State is the TWS Constitution. A fast-changing world requires a new type of government ready to address the technical advances and changing priorities of the population.
The TWS Constitution defines this new government and has been written to solve these pressing issues and reinforce TWS governing principles. It defines how TWS works, its initial Laws and Acts, how to pass new ones, as well as passing Legislative Initiatives, Bills, Founding new parties and becoming President.
It also serves to affirm that TWS is restricted by neither physical borders nor time constraints. All citizens are intrinsically connected and should share equal rights.
Real direct democracy
Guided by the principles of direct democracy, TWS citizens can create parties, draw up agendas, push through important Acts, take part in decision-making, and advocate and raise funds for causes that matter.
Citizens can also elect thought leaders and pioneers as TWS President to represent the State, or run for president themselves.
A fair voting process has been developed to maintain complete transparency and ensure citizens all have an equal say. Part of this process, in compliance with the TWS Constitution, includes The Executive team ensuring the proper implementation of any accepted Acts and distribution of Treasury funds.
Only TWS citizens have the absolute right to vote, submit proposals for voting, and decide how treasury funds are to be spent.
TWS citizenship and passport eligibility
The most powerful passport in the world, the TWS Passport is the key to unlocking all of the platform’s potential.
Passports can be minted with W$C and having one entitles the owner full access to the opportunities provided by TWS: raise funds for causes close to your heart, advocate for policies, create and vote on Legislative Initiatives, become a party representative and run for President. All of this can be done thanks to the TWS Passport within the luxury of a supportive environment.

Being a citizen of TWS is not just about being a part of a community. It’s also about showing who you are. The TWS passport carries your identity and tells people what you believe in and what you stand for.
Special NFT Avatar collections, available exclusively in the TWS Marketplace, allow you to show off your personality. Each collection is limited to 10,000, with exceptions for The Human collection, unique avatars, each with a set of quirky characteristics.
Earning PowerPoints through citizen participation
Become an active citizen and earn PowerPoints, the TWS internal rewards. By taking part in activities such as voting in elections, joining a party, and putting forward legislative initiatives, citizens will earn PowerPoints.
The more active citizen you are, the more PowerPoints you will earn. The more PowerPoints you earn, the more perks you can enjoy, this includes actions that only PowerPoint holders can perform.
Rewards are distributed by the treasury, when approved by an Act, proportionally to citizens based on how many PowerPoints they have.
The W$C token
The native currency of the TWS ecosystem, W$C, is a deflationary token operating on the Polygon blockchain. Running on Polygon allows for low transaction fees and improves accessibility.
W$C’s primary use case is as a utility token. For example, it must be used to mint a TWS Passport, push through legislation, and assume the Presidential office. As part of the coin’s deflationary mechanics, a percentage of W$C is burned monthly.
TWS legislative process
TWS hopes to unite people of the world together and give everyone a voice. A crucial part of this has been the team’s development of its NFT-based legislative process.
In TWS, anyone can propose a change to existing legislation or create new policies. This is done by minting an NFT Legislative Initiative (LI). Each LI is then voted on by citizens and, if approved, it will be implemented by smart contracts.
The Executive team only has the power to enforce laws and not change, edit, or give preference to them. This is because all processes in the State are driven by smart contracts.
Climb party ranks and become president
Any TWS citizens can nominate themself for President, with each term lasting one month. Take part in the influential presidential election by voting in the primaries and subsequent rounds.
The President’s chief role is to represent the TWS community’s ideas in the real world.
TWS encourages its citizens to create a better world where equality and freedom are supported. A community should work together to bring about real change and TWS is the best place for this to happen.
