The Alienware AW620M wireless gaming mouse is available in two color variants called “Lunar Light” and “Dark Side of the Moon”, while the new pointing device is ergonomically shaped and is supposed to be comfortable to use for right-handed gamers who have long gaming sessions in their future.

The American gaming specialist Alienware is mainly known for its high-priced gaming notebooks and desktop PCs, but the Florida-based company also has appropriate peripherals like headsets, keyboards and gaming mice on sale. Accordingly, the successor of the rather oddly shaped Alienware AW610M wireless gaming mouse (from US$99 on Amazon) has now been officially unveiled.

Fittingly, the new version is named Alienware AW620M and has been equipped with an even more sensitive optical sensor with a resolution of 26,000 DPI. In addition, the wireless gaming mouse features seven programmable buttons and fancy RGB lighting with three zones and a total of 16.8 million color combinations. The Alienware AW620M can be connected to Windows PCs via an included USB dongle, which utilizes the usual 2.4 GHz band.

Furthermore, the Alienware AW620M’s integrated LiPo battery pack is supposed to allow up to 140 hours of uninterrupted gaming per charge, and when the wireless gaming mouse eventually runs out of power, it can be fast-charged for a mere five minutes in order to provide ten hours of runtime. Just like its predecessor, the new product is priced at US$99 and available North America starting today. The international launch of the Alienware AW620M is scheduled for March 31, but the corresponding prices for markets outside the US have yet to be disclosed.
