Lenovo has unveiled a boatload of new laptops at MWC 2023, including new ThinkPads, IdeaPads and Chromebooks. Users searching for a one-stop home office solution can pair their laptops (or desktops) with Lenovo’s new ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One (TIO) Gen 5 monitors. They will be available for purchase in August 2023, starting at €299(US$316) for the 21.5-inch model and €399 (US$421) for the 23.8-inch version.

The ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One (TIO) Gen 5 monitor uses an FHD (1,920 x 1,080) IPS LCD panel with optional touch functionality, 250 nits peak brightness (225 for touch-enabled version), 60 Hz refresh rate, 6 ms response time (4 ms in Extreme Mode), and 99% coverage of the sRGB colour gamut. The included three-in-one connector allows modular connectivity with existing Lenovo Tiny desktop units, aka ThinkCentre M small-form-factor desktops.

For connectivity, the ThinkCentre Tiny-in-One (TIO) Gen 5 includes one HDMI 1.4 port, one DP 1.4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-B port. In addition, a 1080p integrated webcam sits on top of the screen. At the back are dual Kensington lock slots and a navigation button that draws inspiration from the iconic ThinkPad track point. Two 3 Watt bottom-firing speakers are also included at the bottom of the screen.
