LG has launched a new projector, the BU70QGA. The laser projector, designed for business and commercial use, has up to 7,000 ANSI lumens brightness from a laser light source. Features include auto zoom, autofocus and auto keystone. Plus, it is the first projector from the company to feature the LG webOS Signage 6.0 platform.

The LG ProBeam BU70QGA laser projector has been launched in the US. The device, which LG suggests is suited to meeting rooms or conference centres, has a native 4K UHD resolution with a 16:9 aspect ratio. You can use the projector to throw images from 40 to 300-in (~102 to 762 cm) wide, thanks to a 1.53 to 2.45 throw ratio.

The BU70QGA has a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 7,000 ANSI lumens brightness; the laser light source is expected to last up to 20,000 hours. You can quickly perfect the image with features like 1.6X auto zoom, autofocus and auto keystone. The projector integrates with Creston Connected, providing the Creston RoomView tool, and supports WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Other features of the device include Edge Blending, LG One:Quick Share and the ability to daisy chain. Plus, it is the first laser projector from the brand with the LG webOS Signage 6.0 platform.

You can connect to the gadget via a range of ports such as HDMI 2.0, DP, USB-A and HDBaseT. The device has two built-in 5 W speakers and generates 31 dB to 35 dB of noise when running. The gadget measures 22.4 x 14.2 x 6.3-in (~570 x 360 x 160 mm) and weighs 39 lbs (~17.7 kg). You can buy the LG ProBeam BU70QGA laser projector in the US for US$5,999. LG has confirmed that the product will also launch in Europe, arriving in Germany in May.
