Potentially attractive Galaxy-series Android smartphones such as the A54 and A34 5G are thought to launch soon. Now, evidence that they could be joined by even more budget-friendly devices has emerged. They are depicted as 4G/LTE-only versions of the A14, which might be joined by a slightly bigger A24 sibling on the international market in 2023.

Who wants a Samsung device that looks more than vaguely like a new Galaxy S23-series device, yet might have rear panels in a material you might worry less about than Gorilla Glass Victus 2, finished in colors that could include something like the Burgundy shade of the S22 Ultra? A lot of consumers, according to Samsung – at least, this is what the latest Galaxy A-series leaks seem to indicate.

The non-5G version of the A24, as well as that of the A14, are now tipped to line up alongside others such as the A34 5G in new leaks. The former has augmented its addition to Samsung India’s support website by joining its apparent siblings as 3GPP-approved devices on the Global Certification Forum (GCF).

The latter has also made it there at the time of writing, and has also popped up as the SM-A245F/DSN complete with 4G/LTE-only connectivity on Thailand’s official NBTC database.

These leaks are often a sign that all of these new Galaxy A devices are indeed on the way – as indeed is the appearance of the possibly higher-end A54 (or SM-A5460) on China’s TENAA database. Its entry has yet to be completed, although it does purport to confirm its connectivity levels (support for 41-, 78-, 79-, 78-, and 28-band 5G) and battery size (5,000mAh typical) thus far.
