Rapper Blueface has responded to Chris Brown’s deflecting from criticism over his abusive past by pointing to Blueface’s abusive relationship with Chrisean Rock serving as “entertainment” on social media.

In case you missed it, Brown was called out by critics online, including Kiely Williams, after it was announced that he would be collaborating with Chloe Bailey on a new single. This led to a backlash from fans and critics alike.

Brown took to Instagram in several posts to defend himself, claiming that those who still criticize him for his past mistakes were “weird.” The 33-year-old father accused critics of hypocrisy for watching Blueface and Rock’s tumultuous relationship in addition to sharing a list of white celebrities accused of abuse in his Instagram stories, including Emma Robert, Sean Penn, and Mel Gibson.

IF YALL STILL HATE ME FOR A MISTAKE I MADE AS A 17 year old please kiss my whole entire a**! IM F***ING 33! IM SO TIRED OF YALL RUNNING WIT THIS NARRATIVE .. YOU WEIRD A**
N***As are the SAME ONES THAT TUNE IN EVERY WEEK TO SEE BLUEFACE AND CHRISEAN BEAT THE F**K OUT EACH OTHER IN FRONT THE WORLD BUT THATS OK? It’s entertainment?

Blueface Suggests Chris Brown Needs To Face His Consequences

In response, Blueface acknowledged the frustration of being in a similar situation but emphasized that their circumstances were not the same.

“I ain’t even going to trip on you ‘cuz the message you trying to send is way off … but, you got to play the cards that you was dealt.” The rapper then added, “handle your candle.”

Blueface went on to criticize Brown for attempting to deflect blame and not holding himself accountable for his past actions. He also disagreed with Brown sharing other examples of celebrities accused or charged with abuse.

Before signing off, Blueface made a pointed statement, saying that Chris Brown “beat up the wrong b***h.”
