Handwritten collection Madrid

The latest Accor branded hotel is expected to be launched in the Spanish market in June next year with the first opening planned in Madrid.

Accor recently launched the Handwritten Collection brand of “unique hotels with a soul of their own” and announced that in June 2024 it will make its debut in Spain with a property located in Madrid.

The French chain stressed that the chosen location, in the centre of the capital “is strategic and will add further appeal to a hotel designed in detail and with exquisite allusions to the history of Madrid”.

The décor will be reminiscent of art deco, with Madrid touches, and will also echo “the owner’s passion, couture, which will be the leitmotif of the property, coming to life in small details throughout the guest experience”.

Handwritten Collection is a boutique hotel brand that already has more than 110 potential partners, with more than 11,500 rooms, including 12 contracts already secured, and five properties scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2023, including two in France.

Other properties will open later this year and beyond, including in France, Estonia, Vietnam and Romania, among others.
