Xiaomi has unveiled the Mijia Intelligent Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor, which will soon be available at a discounted price via a crowdfunding campaign. The gadget has a clip-on design, which the company claims makes it easier to use than a traditional blood pressure cuff. You can also use the Xiaomi app to track your measurements over time.

The Xiaomi Mijia Intelligent Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor has been unveiled in China. The company suggests that its clip-on cuff is much easier to fix to your arm with the correct tightness, especially for those with limited mobility. A 3.7-in softly backlit screen displays the readings in a large font. Alternatively, you can have Xiao AI read out your measurements at the volume of your choice.

You can operate the Xiaomi Mijia Intelligent Electronic Blood Pressure Monitor via built-in buttons to start the reading and locally store blood pressure and heart rate measurements. You can also connect the gadget to the Xiaomi app, allowing you or your family members to track your readings as well as the power level of the device. The blood pressure monitor can last up to 90 days on a single charge, taking two readings a day, and is recharged via USB-C. The gadget can alert you if it detects movement or if the cuff is too loose, which could deliver an inaccurate reading. Plus, it will notify you if an irregular pulse is detected.
