Best Buy has slashed prices of the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022), which ASUS will eventually replace with 2023 models. Both discounted machines feature the AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS, as well as a 2.5K and 120 Hz display. Sale prices vary, but the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) can now be purchased for as little as US$1,099.99 with those components and a Radeon RX 6700S GPU.

Best Buy is offering heavy reductions on last-generation ROG Zephyrus G14 configurations. To recap, ASUS announced a new ROG Zephyrus G14 last month during CES 2023 in Las Vegas. However, ASUS has still not confirmed when the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2023) will be available, nor how much the Ryzen 7000 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40-powered machine will cost.

In the meantime, Best Buy has dropped the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) by up to a third, depending on the SKU. At the time of writing, the retailer has discounted two configurations, which both feature the Ryzen 9 6900HS, 16 GB DDR5 RAM and a 2.5K display that operates at 120 Hz. In other words, Best Buy has included the second and third most powerful ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) SKUs in its latest round of sales.

In fact, ASUS only distinguishes these SKUs by their discrete GPUs. Specifically, the cheaper model features the Radeon RX 6700S, with its more expensive sibling benefitting from the Radeon RX 6800S. While US$300 separates the two SKUs, the Radeon RX 6700S fell approximately 10% short of the Radeon RX 6800S in our benchmarks. The discounts for both SKUs are as follows:
