Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 at Unpacked 2023. It features 13th-generation Intel Raptor Lake-P processors, up to 32 GB LPDDR5 RAM, 1 TB storage, a 76 Wh battery and S-Pen support for its AMOLED screen. One can pre-order the laptop now starting at €1,799.

GaThe long-awaited successor to the Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 is finally here. It is aptly named Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 and comes with current-gen processors from Intel. Weighing at just 1.71 kg (3.8 lbs), it is Intel Evo certified and ideal for those who require an on-the-go workhorse. An optional 5G modem (sub 6 GHz only) is also included for those who want constant internet connectivity. It is pre-orderable now and goes on sale alongside the Galaxy Book3 Ultra on February 17.

Samsung has, once again, declined to mention the exact CPU models powering the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360. However, a leak from earlier confirmed it would be the Core i5-1340p and Core i7-1360p, both of which Intel unveiled at CEX 2023 as a part of its Raptor Lake-P series. Unfortunately, the laptop does not ship with a dedicated GPU, presumably due to thermal concerns. Leaked benchmarks paint a grim picture of Raptor Lake’s generation-over-generation gain, and the fact that they use repurposed Alder Lake dies doesn’t help.

The Samsung Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 has finally hopped on the 16:10 bandwagon with its 16-inch 3K (2,880 x 1,800), touch-enabled AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, 400 nits peak brightness, S-Pen support, and 120% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. In addition, its 76 Wh battery supports 65 W fast charging via the included USB-C brick. Our in-depth Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 review said the laptop has a lot of scope for improvement, and it looks like Samsung has, for the most part, addressed all the issues with the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360.

I/O on the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 is sparse and includes two Thunderbolt 4.0 ports, one USB Type-A port, one HDMI 1.4 port, one SD card reader and an optional nano SIM card slot. Wireless connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1. Memory and storage max out at 32 GB LPDDR5 and 1 TB. A fingerprint sensor is baked into the power button, allowing biometric authentication.

The top-spec Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 with an Intel Core i7 processor, 32 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and 5G will cost users €2,699 (US$2,947). Halving the RAM and storage to 16 GB and 512 GB reduces the price to €2,499 (US$12,728). Without 5G connectivity, the i7 model with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage will set users back by €2,299 (US$2,509). Lastly, the entry-level variant with a Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM and 256 GB SSD retails at €1,799 (US$1,964).
